netbox-openbao 0.2.2

SSH quick-add can now create the connection IP address in the same transaction.

Changes

  • new_ip_address (a CIDR string such as 10.0.0.5/24) on the quick-add REST action and the UI form, mutually exclusive with ip_address. The address is created inside the quick-add transaction, so a later failure rolls it back with everything else.
  • An existing visible address with the same CIDR and no VRF is reused instead of creating a duplicate. Same-CIDR creation is serialized with a transaction-scoped lock.
  • Creating the address needs the caller's own ipam.add_ipaddress permission.
  • With neither input, the object's primary IP is used when the caller may view it. A hidden primary IP never blocks reusing a service that already has an address.
  • A reused service keeps its address: a different explicitly requested address is rejected inside the transaction, and the same address is accepted.
  • The response reports ip_address_id and ip_address, and only for an address the caller may view.

Upgrade notes

No migration. Existing clients that pass ip_address or no address keep working.
