netbox-openbao 0.2.2.post1

Post-release fix for 0.2.2.

Fixed

  • The NetBox plugins page (/core/plugins/) no longer fails with
AttributeError: module 'netbox_openbao.config' has no attribute 'version'.
NetBox reads a plugin's configuration through the package attribute
config. The plugin's settings-resolution module was also named config,
and importing it replaced that attribute with the module object.

Compatibility

  • The settings-resolution module is now netbox_openbao.conf, with the same
contents. Code outside the plugin that imported get_config,
    clear_config, or assignable_model_labels from netbox_openbao.config
    must import them from netbox_openbao.conf.
  • No model or migration change. NetBox 4.7.x, Python 3.12+.

Software version description

  • Package: netbox-openbao 0.2.2.post1 (wheel and source distribution).
  • Source commit: 9a4b69974f92bf00fa0951d6904a31b9c879d693.
  • Verification: regression tests confirm that the package attribute stays the
PluginConfig class after every submodule is imported, that the package has
no config submodule, and that NetBox's own plugin listing reads the
plugin's version. They fail on 0.2.2 with the original error. The fix was
validated on a staging NetBox 4.7.0 instance.
